“The Eddie Gaedel Society – Jefferson City Chapter #10 was very happy to hold two group nights at Jefferson City Renegades games this summer to help us celebrate the 75th anniversary of Eddie Gaedel’s historic appearance as a member of the St. Louis Browns on August 19, 1951.  Renegades staff was very helpful, hospitable, and accommodating in many ways – from answering questions about ticketing, to hosting one of our group members for a pre-game book sale and signing of his book of baseball poems, to supporting and making available for sale at the ballpark our custom Eddie Gaedel themed Logboat Brewing “Little Legend” beer.  Cheering on a group member throwing out the first pitch and hearing our group name announced as a Foul Ball Sponsor made these nights even more special!  We always enjoy watching a game at historic Ernie Vivion Field and can’t wait for the 2027 season!”
